Press Release Body = New York, USA. - June 5, 2007: Lingobit Technologies today announces the launch of the newest version of Lingobit Localizer. The current release promises to be the one-stop solution for development teams that need to facilitate and streamline the software localization process and communication between programmers, translators and testers. Building on the much requested functionality of the previous versions, Lingobit Localizer 5.1 extends its commitment to .NET Framework by offering an improved support for it. This includes an enhanced parser, capable of extracting many properties, such as TreeView nodes and ListView items, which used to be inaccessible for localization in the earlier versions. Another big improvement is the form editor that utilizes a new mechanism to display .NET forms, making Lingobit Localizer the only product in the market to display them correctly. Localizer 5.1 is capable to show inherited forms, custom controls (Infragistics, DevExpress, etc), user controls, menus, toolbars, strip controls, and etc.
New Lingobit Localizer has a carefully redesigned spell-as-you-type SpellChecker that supports over 80 languages. The complete list of dictionaries is available at http://www.lingobit.com/support/SpellingDictionaries.html. The spellchecking capability for new languages will minimize the chances of incorrect translation while increasing the speed of translation and localization. With the latest addition of the Dutch language, Lingobit Localizer 5.1 has become accessible to a wider audience of users who will enjoy the benefits of modern localization technologies in their own native language. Also new to 5.1 is Custom Pseudo Translate function that can simulate translation into any language. Let\'s say, for example, you want to see how the English application will work when localized into Russian. For this purpose, Pseudo Translate allows you to replace English letters with their Russian transliteration: L > Л, D > Д, etc. The translated application will remain readable, and you will be able to see the errors in displaying Russian characters.
Lingobit Localizer 5.1\'s exclusive Secondary language feature is convenient for translators when an application must be localized into more than one language. Let's say, for example, there is an application, which is Italian. The task is to localize it into English and then Japanese. The Secondary language option shows the translation into an extra target language (English) along with the translation in the source one (Italian). It is helpful for the \"Japanese\" translator because even if he doesn't know Italian, he can still translate the application into Japanese looking at the English translation.
\"Since Lingobit Localizer burst onto the localization scene in 2003, we have been committed to making the localization process as easy as possible\" says Michael Trent, marketing communications manager at Lingobit Technologies. \"The ever-growing list of localization capabilities frees software developers to focus their energy on product innovation while streamlining and improving localization process.\"
